Game Meat Monday: Hunters Pheasant

Delicious, versatile dish with pheasant breasts.


  • 1 pheasant breast
  • 4 rashers of streaky bacon per breast
  • Your favourite bbq sauce
  • Grated cheese


  • Season your pheasant breast with a little salt and pepper then wrap in the bacon.
  • Place in an oven proof dish and pour over your favourite bbq sauce and top with grated cheese.
  • Cook for approximately 20 minutes at 180 or until internal temperature reaches 75 degrees c.
  • Rest for 5 minutes and serve with chip or rice.
