Game Shooting Census

The Game Shooting Census by GunsOnPegs and Lycetts, is the only survey focusing on driven game shooting where the results are used to understand more, and better game shooting going forward.

The results of this survey will be used by the shooting organisations in order to further our understanding of the shooting industry. Some of the results may be reported in the public domain by the project partners if they feel it would be of interest to the shooting community, but only ever in aggregate – no individuals or shoots will be personally identifiable in such results.

The Game Shooting Census is an industry wide initiative with the support of BASC, Countryside Alliance & GWCT in formulating the questions and circulating the Census to get as high a response as possible, resulting in more meaningful data for us all.

The Game Shooting Census has monitored trends in the shooting community for the past few years. With as many as 10,000 respondents each year, it is the biggest survey of its kind and over the years has produced some fascinating results.

The first Game Shooting Census was conducted in 2013, so we now have a wealth of past data against which to compare this year’s results, track changes in the shooting world and the changing views of guns.

We cannot emphasize enough that your answers to this survey are strictly confidential. No questions are compulsory, apart from those with question logic attached, but please do give as much information as possible. Any personal data you enter will be held securely by GunsOnPegs but removed the moment a prize winner has been drawn..

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact GunsOnPegs on 0207 491 1363.
